Hitchhiking, Part II

Off the Cuff Comment:
Early this Friday morning as I was returning from the little grocery store north of Dewey, both arms loaded down with groceries, as I walked along the sidewalk hundreds of cars passed me by until finally a gentleman stopped, opened the door and said “may I help you,” I replied “no, just because my eyes don’t work anymore is not a reason that I am not going to depend on my legs, thank you very much.” It just goes to show me that there are still a lot of good people in this world. Thank you very much.

My Comment:
I'm sure the guy drove away thanking God that the crazy person didn't accept his ride offer.
