Lonesome Whistles

Off the Cuff Comment:
It is right about midnight and the freight train has just left Dewey going north and the engineer is blowing the most beautiful western type movie sound you have ever heard. So what do I do? I grab my flashlight out the back door on top of my cellar and wave at him and bless his heart he tooted back. But from now on, at 94-years of age, I will just stand outside my back door and wave at him. It sure made my night.

My Comment:
Dear 8 lb 6 oz baby Jesus, please don't let me grow old and senile to the point where I wait up for a nightly train.
