Citizens Against Growth

Off the Cuff Comment:
I’ve just read Thursday’s paper about the concept for the recreation facilities. No matter how they talk it up, no matter what they say it will improve, it’s not needed in Bartlesville and the money should be put in other places. We wouldn’t be able to support tournaments in this town.

My Comment:
Your typical Bartlesville resident... Afraid of any ideas that involve growth and diversification of available resources. I think we should spend the money to put more road humps and stop signs in. Or maybe put a light near every retirement home so the people who shouldn't be driving anyway can get out easier.

Also, it would be most helpful to have a ban on any business operating between the hours of 6am-11:30am on Sunday mornings. This would help the older residents drive with little traffic and also ensure that if you are going to be a heathen and not attend the service of your choice, you could just sit at home and think about how you should be at church right then.
